Faith is a staff favorite! She came in with a litter of 6 kittens and was an excellent mom to them. Most days, she was exhausted from caring for them and even became rather thin herself because she put them first. All of her kittens found homes, but here she sits, wondering if she will be rewarded with a home of her own. She is an absolute sweetheart who adores attention, yet no one ever comes to the shelter looking to adopt the mom cat. Despite her friendly personality, her chances of adoption are slim. Please give her that place she deserves in a forever home with a real family!

Captivating Clara is a charming older beagle mix, at approximately 9 years of age. She is learning the hard way regarding society's "disposable" beliefs with senior animals...that is, when they stop being cute and spunky, just cast them aside. So here she sits, confined in a small kennel, when her only crime was in getting older. This sweetie is hoping to find a gentle pet owner who appreciates the value in leisurely walks down the street and warm cuddles on the couch. Might that someone be you? All animals receive their first set of vaccinations, are HW tested or FIV/Felv tested, given rabies vaccination, microchipped, and are spayed or neutered before leaving Harbor Humane Society.
