Harbor Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter located in West Olive, MI. Since 1956, we’ve proudly served Ottawa County and the greater West Michigan community, welcoming over 3,500 animals each year through strays, transfers, and owner surrenders.

Our mission is rooted in second chances—for pets and the people who love them. We’re committed to keeping pets safe, healthy, and home.

We value inclusion, transparency, and accountability in all we do. Harbor Humane maintains a 100% placement rate for adoptable animals, and our annual reports and statistics are always available to the public.
