WHAT IS IT?
We are proud to be a GOODS Ambassador. Greater Good has rules and guidelines for participating recipients that we must follow. Please visit https://greatergood.org/goods to learn more about the program.
Please review the following criteria to determine if you are eligible to request an application.
We accept applications from the following:
ANIMAL WELFARE
– Food banks with an animal support component and Pet Food Pantries
– 501(c)3 animal rescue organizations, e.g., cat dog, shelters or rescues
– State, county, or local animal welfare facilities operated by a government entity.
– Law enforcement agencies i.e. animal control
HUMAN SERVICES
– Housing (includes emergency, transitional & permanent)
– Community Resource & Outreach (includes homeless services)
– Domestic Violence Shelters & Resources
– Women & Children
– Veterans
– Human Feeding (includes food banks or pantries)
– Education or Literacy
– Federal government agencies including VA and FEMA
– State & Local community programs and offices
– Law Enforcement Agencies
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Fill out our brief form to get started. Our staff will follow up with an official application form. Please make sure to thoroughly fill out your application. This information is required for us to have to approve your organization as a recipient.
2. Please wait to hear from us! We may have to collect further information and, in some cases, may need to do a site visit.
3. Once approved, you will be invited to a private Facebook page. We will post on the Facebook page when we are getting shipments.
4. If there are supplies you would like on the shipment, you will comment on the Facebook page. Supplies will be at a cost of up to .15 cents/lb. You will commit to the supplies you want, and we will send you a copy of the donated goods report (DGR).
5. You will pay the DGR online.
6. Show up on the day and time that the distribution will happen, fill out a little paperwork, take your goods with you, and happy sharing!
